Built in Long Beach to fix how fire protection gets done

Commercial fire protection has a service problem: tags without explanations, invoices without context, and deficiency lists that read like ransom notes. We started this company to run it differently — documented compliance, honest priorities, and a phone that gets answered.

We’re new, and we don’t hide it. Established 2026, Long Beach, California. No decades-of-experience claims, no borrowed trophies — just the standards, the tools, and the work.

To provide professional fire protection services with integrity, reliability, and outstanding customer care.

Three responsibilities, in order

Protecting Lives

Every detector, head, and horn we test has one job: work the night people are inside your building. We test like that night is tomorrow.

Protecting Property

A maintained system catches a fire small. That’s the difference between a service call and a rebuild.

Delivering Peace of Mind

Straight reports, complete records, and a phone that gets answered at 2 a.m.

Professional. Reliable. Committed to Excellence.

Any company can print those words. Here’s what each one costs us to mean:

Professional

NFPA standards aren’t a marketing word here — they’re the checklist every technician works from. Scope, test, document, explain. Every visit, every system.

Reliable

The 24/7 line is answered by people who can actually help, every day of the year. When we commit to a date, a scope, or a price, that’s what happens.

Committed to Excellence

Reports specific enough to act on. Deficiencies explained in plain English with real priorities. Follow-up that doesn’t need chasing. Excellence is mostly just follow-through.

The work, in one sentence

We inspect, test, repair, and install every commercial fire protection system — alarms, sprinklers, pumps, extinguishers, lighting, doors, backflow, standpipes, underground mains — across Southern California, documented under one compliance program.

Want to talk to us first?

Good — that’s how we prefer to start too. You’ll get a fire protection professional, not a phone tree.

The trade is older than any of us

The rules we work to have been written, tested, and rewritten since the National Fire Protection Association formed in 1896 — longer than any contractor has been in business. West Coast Fire Systems is new: established 2026, Long Beach, California. We didn’t inherit the trade’s history, and we don’t claim to. What we inherited is the checklist — NFPA 13, 25, and 72, California Title 19 — and the obligation to work it the way the trade always has: system by system, valve by valve, in writing.

You can still find the old hardware on buildings all over this region — cast bells stamped AUTOMATIC, brass fire department connections worn smooth. That equipment outlived the companies that installed it because somebody kept maintaining it to the standard. That’s the lineage we signed up for.

Old trade. New company. Same standard.
